Delete your account

Updated:

You can delete your Durma account at any time. Deletion permanently removes all of your data from our servers and can’t be undone. If you want a copy first, use Export data on the Profile screen to download everything as a single JSON file.

Delete in the app

On your iPhone or Android phone:

  1. Open Durma and go to the Profile screen.
  2. Tap Delete account.
  3. Choose whether to keep or delete the local data on this device.
  4. Confirm the deletion.

Your account and all of your data on our servers are deleted immediately, and you are signed out. If you used Sign in with Apple, Durma’s link to your Apple Account is revoked as well.

Request deletion by email

If you can’t get into the app (for example, you lost your phone), you can ask us to delete your account by email:

  1. Send an email with the subject “Delete account” to support@durma.app.
  2. If you can, write from the email address linked to your account and include your display name. If you hid your email when using Sign in with Apple, include the relay address Apple created or the devices you signed in on.
  3. Once we have confirmed the account is yours, we delete it and let you know by email.

We complete requests within 30 days.

What gets deleted

When you delete your account, all of the following is permanently removed from our servers:

  • your account details (user ID, display name, email address, sign-in methods and passkeys),
  • your profile and goals,
  • your walk summaries, routes, interval and test results,
  • your daily summaries, streaks and badges,
  • your programs and challenge memberships (you are also removed from challenge standings),
  • your push tokens and registered devices.

What stays

  • Data on your device: if you chose to keep it, you can carry on using Durma without an account. Uninstalling the app deletes this data too.
  • Apple Health and Health Connect: walks saved there stay on your device. You can delete them in the Health app or in Health Connect settings.

No account?

If you used Durma without an account, we don’t hold any of your data on our servers. Uninstalling the app is enough to remove Durma’s data from your device.
